Hello!
We are seeking a highly organized, intelligent, and discreet Investor Research & Fundraising Operations Assistant to support a growing founder-led company with investor research, startup funding opportunity research, outreach tracking, accelerator applications, and fundraising-related documentation.
This is not a basic admin assistant role. You will work directly and closely with the company founder.
The ideal candidate is someone who can research independently, organize information clearly, manage outreach pipelines, prepare structured documents, and help support future business development and investment-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Investor & Business Research:
- Research angel investors, venture capital firms, startup accelerators, business incubators, and strategic funding opportunities
- Identify investors or organizations that may be aligned with specific industries, business models, and stages of growth
- Compile organized research databases with names, websites, LinkedIn profiles, investment focus, contact information, notes, and next steps
- Research competitors, market trends, startup ecosystems, and potential strategic partners
- Summarize findings clearly and professionally
Outreach & Pipeline Coordination:
- Help organize investor outreach lists and communication pipelines
- Track who has been contacted, when follow-ups are due, and what responses were received
- Maintain organized spreadsheets or CRM-style trackers
- Assist with scheduling calls and keeping follow-up tasks organized
- Help prepare outreach drafts for review before anything is sent
Application & Documentation Support:
- Assist with preparing startup accelerator applications, investor forms, and business development materials
- Organize founder documents, pitch materials, research files, PDFs, spreadsheets, and presentation assets
- Maintain structured Google Drive folders and internal documentation
- Help repurpose answers and company information across multiple applications or investor questionnaires
Strategic Administrative Support:
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and research documents
- Assist with business research and operational coordination
- Help organize project information across multiple developing business initiatives
- Support the founder with high-level administrative and research-heavy tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong internet research skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and presentation tools
- Able to summarize research clearly and concisely
- Professional communication style
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Reliable internet connection and computer
- Honest, trustworthy, and discreet with confidential business information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or strong interest in any of the following is a plus:

Prior direct fundraising experience is not required, but the candidate must be willing to learn and able to handle detailed research and organization.
