JOB OVERVIEW

I'm the founder of a start-up marketing agency based in the UK and I'm looking for a personal assistant to work directly with me. This isn't a corporate job with layers of management — you'll be working close with me and a team of creators we work with together. I'll be with you every step of the way and you'll never be left figuring things out alone. As we grow, so do your hours, responsibilities, and opportunities. I'm looking for the right person, not just someone to fill a role.

What you'll be doing

Manually post to my social media accounts every day (10–15 min per account, 2 accounts to start — more added as we scale)

Work alongside the creators I manage — keeping things organised and running smoothly on their side too

Keep spreadsheets accurate and up to date

Calculate creator payouts weekly and maintain a clear calculation sheet

Assist me with personal tasks and general day-to-day needs as they come up

Hours, availability & equipment

This is a Monday to Sunday role — posting happens every day, including weekends. To start, it's roughly 1 hour a day, but I need someone who understands that being a PA means being available, not just clocked in. Days off are negotiable and can be agreed in advance on any day — just always give me notice ahead of time.

I'm based in the UK, which is 7 hours behind Philippine time. You must be comfortable being available from 7pm PHP time through to 4am if needed — this is when I'm most active and when most communication will happen. You don't need to be awake the whole time, but you need to be reachable and responsive during those hours.

You must have a reliable laptop or computer and a stable internet connection — this is non-negotiable. A tablet or iPad is acceptable as a backup when travelling, but your main setup must be dependable.

How we'll work together

We'll communicate closely — I need someone who is fully comfortable with video calls, voice calls, Loo ---------- ssages, and text at any point during working hours. I don't want someone who disappears between tasks. I want someone who's present, responsive, and feels like a genuine part of what we're building. If something comes up, I need to be able to reach you — and I want you to feel just as comfortable reaching out to me.

What makes a great PA — and what I'm really looking for

Genuinely enjoys helping people — not just ticking off a to-do list, but finds real satisfaction in making someone else's day easier and work better

Committed and dedicated — a great PA doesn't need chasing, they show up every day and take ownership of their responsibilities

Proactive — spots what needs doing and does it, rather than waiting to be told every step of the way

Trustworthy and discreet — as my PA you'll be close to my work and personal tasks, and I need someone I can rely on completely

Friendly, warm, and not shy — I want someone I actually enjoy working with, who brings good energy and isn't afraid to be themselves

Open to building a real long-term working relationship — not just here for a job, but genuinely invested in helping grow something together

Pay & opportunity

Starting at $2/hr, ~1 hour a day, paid weekly. This is just the start — as you grow with me, so do your hours, responsibilities, and opportunities. I'm building something and I want the right person building it with me.

Before you apply — please answer these questions

I can tell when answers have been written by AI, so please keep it real and in your own words. That honesty is exactly what I'm looking for. Applications without answers will not be considered.

1.
In your own words, what does this role actually involve day to day? Tell me what you understood from reading this post.

2.
Describe your personality in a few sentences — not what you think I want to hear, just who you actually are. How do you think that makes you a good personal assistant?

3.
Have you ever been responsible for something that needed to be done every single day without fail? How did you handle it — and what happened when life got in the way?

4.
This role requires being available from 7pm PHP time — are you genuinely comfortable with that? Walk me through what your evenings typically look like.

If this sounds like you, I'd genuinely love to hear from you. I'm not just hiring — I'm looking for the right person. Tell me who you are, not just what you've done.
