About Us
Metro Deco is a leading commercial fitout company based in Sydney with over 20 years of experience. We specialise in retail, hospitality, and shopping centre fitouts. We have an in-house joinery factory and work across major shopping centres in NSW.
We are now expanding our remote team to streamline operations and grow sustainably.
About the Role
You will work closely with the director and project team to assist with administration, documentation, and communication tracking across multiple construction projects.
Your role is to keep project information organised, log communications, and maintain structured documentation so the team can operate efficiently.
This is an administration and documentation role, not a project management or client-facing position.
Responsibilities
• Log and organise project communications from WhatsApp,
• Maintain structured project folders (Google Drive / Dropbox)
• Save and organise drawings, contracts, quotes and variations
• Track updates and decisions discussed within the team
• Assist with preparing
• Maintain project logs, trackers and notes
• Assist the director with general administrative tasks
• Help ensure the latest documents and drawings are correctly saved
Requirements
• At least 1–2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Personal Assistant
• Strong English communication (written and spoken)
• Highly organised and detail oriented
• Ability to follow instructions carefully
• Reliable internet connection, own PC or laptop
• Comfortable using Google Drive,
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting construction, architecture or engineering companies
• Experience organising project documentation
• Familiarity with project tracking systems such as Notion, Trello, or similar tools
• Experience working with international teams
