You don't want just any job. You want work that actually uses your brain.
You're the person who notices the gap before anyone else does. Who finishes a task and quietly thinks about how the process could have been smoother. Who finds a system that works — and then makes it better.
If that sounds familiar, keep reading.
About Us
Private Practice Alliance is an online business management firm that supports practitioners — particularly allied health professionals — to build sustainable, well-structured businesses.
We believe that good systems create relief. That clear structures reduce overwhelm. And that the administrative and operational foundations of a business are what allow practitioners to stay in work they love, for the long term.
We're growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
The Role
This is a full-time assistant role reporting directly to the founder. You'll be working across the business — supporting operations, keeping projects moving, maintaining quality and consistency, and making sure the right things happen in the right order.
This isn't a passive role. You'll be expected to take ownership, anticipate needs, and flag problems before they become crises. You'll also work across platforms and tools — so comfort with technology isn't optional.
Some of what you'll be doing:
– Managing inboxes, scheduling, and day-to-day operations so the founder can stay in her zone of genius
– Keeping projects on track — deadlines met, nothing falling through the gaps
– Supporting content, marketing, and client-facing work with attention to brand quality
– Learning our systems, following our processes, and flagging when something isn't working
– Communicating clearly and professionally with tea
– Picking up new tools and platforms quickly — and using them well
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to have worked in private practice before. But you do need to understand how administration, client journeys, and brand consistency work — and why they matter.
You're the right fit if you:
– Think in systems and processes, not just tasks
– Catch details others miss — and care that you do
– Communicate with clarity and professionalism
– Can manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
– Take feedback constructively and implement it quickly
– Are genuinely comfortable with technology and enjoy figuring out new tools
– Know how to hold a boundary, follow a process, and ask a good question
– Are calm under pressure — not because nothing bothers you, but because you've got structure
You're probably not the right fit if you need a lot of hand-holding, struggle with ambiguity, or are looking for a role where the expectations are low.
What You'll Get
– Full-time hours in a role that's genuinely interesting
– Work that contributes to something meaningful — better businesses create better lives for practitioners and their clients
– A founder who is direct, fair, and invested in your growth
– Real responsibility from day one — not busywork
– Exposure to the full picture of how an online business is run
