Social Media & Community Manager (VA) – AI Filmmaking Community ( Discord , Social Media, Administrative Support

Pay Rate Salary: $500 - $700/month (This will depend on your level of skill, experience, and other applicants) Probationary Period: 1 month

You will play a crucial role in helping our global creative movement and AI film sprint, Soulscape, thrive. You will be the central hub for our community operations and administrative tasks. Almost all of your tasks will come with tutorials and clear instructions, so you’ll always know what to do.

Some tasks (not all of these) I have in mind for you to handle in the immediate future include:

- Managing and responding to official emails from partners, applicants, and community members professionally.
- Daily operations, engagement, and moderation of our official ---------- server.
- Answering initial inquiries from potential participants and sponsors.
- Publishing pre-written content (announcements, articles, reminders) across our platforms ( ---------- , LinkedIn, etc.).
- Assisting with community outreach, helping to connect with other ---------- /WeChat group owners.
- Updating and organizing data on our applicants, partners, and community members in our lists/CRM.
- Conducting research on potential community partners or outreach opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in online community management, especially ---------- .
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Familiar with social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.).
A genuine interest in AI, filmmaking, technology, or creative movements.
Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.

I am the founder of Soulscape, a global AI film sprint and creative movement scheduled for March 2026 in San - Francisco. Our mission is to ignite a global movement that reclaims authentic storytelling in the AI era. We are building a massive community (already 8,000+ strong ) and partnering with top AI companies, streaming platforms, and industry leaders. I also run a tech review channel on Bilibili with over 75,000 followers. This is an exciting time to join and help build a groundbreaking global event from the ground up.

Bonus Skills: Some ability to speak or read Chinese is a plus, as we are also building a large community in China and managing WeChat groups. Don’t worry if you’re not fluent—this is not a requirement.
