We are looking to recruit a Contractor Recruitment & Engagement specialist to join our team.
We are a UK based work platform that connects businesses requiring cleaning services with self employed cleaning contractors with available work in their local areas. The platform is app based and contractors can select work to suit their availability and requirements, whether this be on a flexible basis or recurring work pattern.
The Contractor Recruitment & Engagement Specialist will be responsible for attracting, onboarding, and activating self-employed contractors onto our platform.
You will ensure that contractors are properly supported, tickets are resolved promptly, and platform availability remains high through efficient management.
You will also be responsible for responding to daily queries, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to improve recruitment and retention outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Proactively source / attract self-employed cleaners through targeted advertising on Eploy (ATS system)/ Indeed.
• Manage and oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, which includes:
- Right to Work Check
- Completion of induction
- Platform registration review and verification of information and supporting documentation provided.
• Maintain a steady pipeline of new contractors to support operational demand.
Activation & Retention
• Encourage new contractors to become active within their first 7 days on the platform.
• Monitor contractor engagement and take proactive steps to re-engage inactive users.
Contractor Support & Ticket Management
• Respond to all inbound
• Provide accurate and timely support on topics including onboarding, shift selection, and platform navigation.
• Escalate technical or compliance issues as required via Trello.
Absence & Clocking Management
• Support with education and guidance where contractors have not clocked in via the app.
• Manually add shifts where there has been any technical issues and ensure issue is escalated to tech team.
• Monitor and ensure absences are updated throughout the day on the T&A system.
Performance Reporting
• Track and report on recruitment, activation, and engagement metrics weekly.
• Identify bottlenecks or issues in recruitment/retention and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate communications, and contractor statuses within Eploy.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
• Recruitment and onboarding processes including Right to Work checks
• Vacancy Advertising and attraction
• Handling a fast paced role where high levels of organisation and attention to detail are required
• working operationally and acting in the best interests of the company and candidates at all times
• scheduling candidates / diary management of workers
• Delivering high quality customer service and efficiently to queries of multiple nature
• Working with technology and an ability to understand multiple systems as well as provide technical support to app users
• Thinking proactively to ensure that operational needs are always met for clients
To better understand the requirements of this role, the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are:
• 20 new contractors fully recruited and activated on the platform per week
• 100% Recruitment Compliance (Right to work, Induction, bank details, tax responsibilities, contract)
• ? 70?tivation rate (new recruits completing at least one shift within 7 days)
• ? 70% weekly active contractor rate (working a minimum of 1 shift per week)

• Clocking records updated on T&A system within 2 hours of shift completion.
• Absences to be removed from T&A system on same day or within 2 hrs of next working day if after 4pm
