The Salsa Beat is a dance company based in San Diego, California known for its joyful salsa dance classes and community events.
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a warm and friendly, tech-savvy individual to assist with administrative support, client success management, and technical support for our dance studio. This role will assist the directors of the company to enhance our online community and virtually coordinate the studio’s registration and events. Training will be provided with room for you to creatively improve any business process.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Remote Support for In-Person Studio
-Create class rosters.
-Coordinate Registration activities, Open House, and events.
Student Engagement and Support
-Connect with clients to listen to their goals and offer information about how our services can help them.
-Qualify clients for the course offerings and guide them through the payment process.
-Onboard clients by explaining the program and ensuring they have everything they need to start.
-Act as the primary point of contact for students, managing inquiries, registrations, and feedback.
-Develop and maintain a welcoming online community through engagement in virtual events, forums, and social media groups.
-Communicate via text or
Administrative Duties
-Handle virtual class registrations, payments, and refunds using our online systems.
-Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and feedback for both virtual and in-person classes from a remote perspective.
-Manage schedules, organize meetings, and send out invitations.
-Handle
-Clean up unnecessary files and ensure everything is easy to locate.
-Updated scripts, workflows, and client records in CRM to maintain student database.
Marketing and Outreach
-Assist in creating marketing content for social media,
-Participate in virtual community events and webinars, and support marketing for in-person events from a digital standpoint.
-Technology Management:
-Ensure the online course platform is user-friendly and up-to-date with the latest features.
-Report any issues with IT support for any technical issues related to the virtual environment.
Performance and Quality
-Monitor the quality of the website.
-Make sure all links are working.
-Correct any out-of-date information.
*Qualifications:*
Experience:
-Previous experience in online course platform management or fitness/dance/yoga studio management or similar virtual business management.
-Experience in managing both virtual and physical environments from a remote position is advantageous.
Required Technical Skills:
-Proficient with Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and Zoom.
-Experience with any CRM (we use Mailchimp).
-Make the subject of your job application “Timbicken.”
-Comfortable with basic troubleshooting for digital platforms.
Bonus Technical Skills:
-Experience with Adobe Premiere, Canva, or Capcut.
-Experience with minor website updates is a plus.
Soft Skills:
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-C1 English or higher.
-Eagerness to learn and grow.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
-Passion for creating joyful experiences for people and community building.
-A love for dance is a plus!
