Video Editor

**Role Summary**:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling to join our team. The primary focus of this role is on podcast editing and long form content, involving multiple camera angles and ensuring high-quality audio and video output. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging video content that resonates with our audience and promotes our platform.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Edit video podcasts typically featuring 3 different camera angles, ensuring seamless transitions and synchronization.
- Produce finished video podcasts ranging from 30-60 minutes, hosted on Unicorns.LIVE.
- Create an MP3 audio-only version of podcasts for distribution on various podcasting platforms.
- Develop at least one 60-second reel for social media promotion, including captivating captions for audience engagement.
- Design a 2-3 minute 1920x1080p trailer for each episode, providing a glimpse of the content to attract viewers on Unicorns.LIVE.
- Generate promotional videos and reels for upcoming podcasts/series and overall platform promotion.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain brand consistency and high-quality standards.
- Also will be some side work creating post in person event reels

**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly with podcast formats and long form video series.
- Proficiency in editing software and tools, with the ability to produce content in various formats.
- Experience with VTT caption creation is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work creatively and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to stay on brand.
- Portfolio of previous work to demonstrate editing skills and creativity.

**Work Arrangement**:
- This is a part-time position with the potential for growth as our content expands.
- The role will initially focus on editing for two new podcasts starting in April, with additional projects to follow.
