JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an additional tea ---------- mber wanting to join our expanding sailing tourism company based in the United Kingdom. With opportunities to progress in the future and take on greater responsibilities, this position ideally suits someone who is driven and can use their own initiative.

Typical responsibilities will include.
1. Drafting responses to customer enquires
2. Updating our WordPress website
3. Using mailchimp to draft e-mail marketing campaigns
4. Liaising with our suppliers to order spare parts and branded clothing
5. Basic social media posting
6. Ensuring we are UpToDate with any compliance requirements
7. Reconciling our QuickBooks accounts.
8. Video editing (Desirable but not essential)
9. App programming (Desirable but not essential)

We can offer
1. $450 / month for 35 hours / week and there is the potential to work a greater number of hours on occasion. You will start with a 4 week trial period.
2. Flexible working times, no need to work to UK working hours.
3. Flexible vacation time, please give us some advance warning and we will try and give you the time you need.
4. The opportunity to progress and take on more responsibility.
The ideal candidate is able to work by themselves and ask questions when they need to, you are encouraged to be an active part of a small but rapidly expanding company and be empowered to make suggestions and optimise our workflow. Some tasks may be very repetitive but other such as running our social media channels will require a degree of creativity. An excellent grasp of written English is essential.

If you are interested, please complete the following tasks:
1. Draft a response to the following email: "Hello Sail Racing Academy, I am interested in joining the first Leg of the European Mile Builder. I have no sailing experience, but I am a very fast learner and have always wanted to start sailing. Would this be the right kind of trip for me?"
2. Your boss needs one of our skippers to bring 6 lifejackets on a plane from the UK to Spain. Are there any restrictions on the Co2 cartridges in the lifejackets? Can you find me any documents that will help me clear through security with these?
