WordPress Website Support (Design/Develop)

We're looking for a reliable, experienced WordPress contractor to handle internal updates on our website. This is not a build-from-scratch role. You'll be working within an existing site, making it faster, cleaner and easier to keep current.

The role

You'll manage regular content and feature updates on our WordPress site, working to a high standard while keeping design and conversion in mind. We need someone who can work autonomously, understand what "on-brand" looks like without heavy direction, and turn updates around quickly without cutting corners.

This starts as contract-based work, with potential to become ongoing if we're a good fit.

What you'll be doing


Posting blogs, formatted and structured correctly
Adding features such as author bios and sidebars
Adding and updating page content based on briefs we provide
Keeping all updates consistent with existing design and brand
Making efficient updates without overcomplicating the process
Building SEO/GEO & CRO into your website updates


What we're looking for


Proven WordPress experience, ideally with a portfolio or examples of past work
A sharp eye for design consistency and conversion-friendly layout
Fast, clean execution and quick turnaround times
Ability to work independently once briefed, without needing constant check-ins
Strong attention to detail


Nice to have


Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL)
Comfort using AI tools to speed up workflows or suggest improvements
An interest in offering AI-informed suggestions alongside the core WordPress work


To be clear: the core focus of this role is WordPress updates. AI and GHL knowledge are a bonus, not a requirement, and won't substitute for solid WordPress fundamentals.

Ideal setup

We're open to a designer-developer pairing if that gets us the best combination of design sense and technical execution. A single contractor covering both is equally welcome.
