Website Developer

We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to recreate the functionality of our existing website including its interactive room planning, dynamic pricing, production-ready CNC output, and customer/admin dashboards.

This is not simply a website redesign or front-end rebuild. The successful developer will need to understand, replicate, and improve the underlying functionality and workflow of the existing platform.

Key Requirements
1. 2D & 3D Parametric Room Planner / Modeller

Develop an interactive room planner where customers can design and configure their own spaces, including:

Kitchen cabinets and joinery items
Parametric dimensions and configurations
Customer-controlled measurements and layout
Adding, removing, and modifying cabinets/joinery components
2D floor-plan and/or elevation views
3D visualisation of the customer's design
Changes made by the customer should automatically update the model
Configurable materials, finishes, hardware, and other joinery options

The system should be designed around parametric modelling, rather than simply allowing users to place static 3D objects.

2. Dynamic Pricing Engine

The platform must automatically calculate pricing based on the customer's design.

Pricing should dynamically respond to factors such as:

Cabinet/joinery dimensions
Quantity of items
Cabinet types and configurations
Materials and board finishes
Hardware selections
Benchtops and other accessories
Manufacturing requirements
Delivery or other applicable costs

The pricing engine should be flexible enough for administrators to update pricing rules, materials, products, and rates without requiring a developer for every change.

3. CNC / Production-Ready File Generation

The customer's completed design should be capable of generating production-ready CNC outputs.

The system should be able to:

Convert the parametric design into manufacturing data
Generate accurate component dimensions
Produce CNC-ready files based on the customer's design
Account for materials, thicknesses, machining requirements, and joinery details
Generate outputs suitable for downstream manufacturing/production processes

This is a critical requirement. We are not looking for a simple PDF or drawing export. The output must be structured for actual production.

The developer should clearly explain their experience with CNC, CAD/CAM, parametric modelling, cabinet manufacturing, or automated manufacturing workflows.

4. Customer Dashboard

Customers should have their own account/dashboard where they can:

Create and save projects
Continue editing previous designs
View their designs in 2D/3D
View dynamically calculated pricing
Submit designs/orders
View quotations and order status
Manage their account and project information
Access relevant files/documents
5. Admin Dashboard

Administrators should have a comprehensive backend to manage the platform, including:

Customers and user accounts
Projects and designs
Products and cabinet/joinery configurations
Materials and board finishes
Hardware and accessories
Pricing rules and formulas
Orders and quotations
Production files
Customer submissions
System settings

The admin should be able to modify pricing and product configurations without requiring changes to the core code wherever practical.

Experience with kitchen design, cabinetry, joinery, furniture manufacturing, CNC production, or similar industries would be highly advantageous.

Important

The primary objective is to recreate the functionality and workflow of our existing Joinery Online platform, not just replicate its visual appearance.
