Web Developer (WordPress & Hosting Specialist)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Web Developer to manage the technical lifecycle of our web projects. This isn't just about writing code; it’s about ensuring our digital infrastructure is stable, fast, and visually compelling. You will be our "go-to" expert for site migrations, DNS management, and building high-converting pages using Elementor.

As this is an hourly contract role, we value efficiency, clear communication, and the ability to troubleshoot independently.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Take full ownership of DNS configurations, records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT), and SSL certifications.
Site Migrations: Execute seamless website migrations between hosting providers (e.g., SiteGround, WP Engine, AWS) with zero to minimal downtime.
Page Building: Design, build, and deploy responsive, high-performance landing pages using Elementor Pro and WordPress.
Performance Optimization: Audit and improve site speed (Core Web Vitals), optimize imagery, and manage plugin bloat.
Maintenance & Security: Perform regular updates, backups, and security hardening to ensure site integrity.
Troubleshooting: Resolve "white screen of death" errors, CSS conflicts, and hosting-level bottlenecks.

Technical Requirements
WordPress Expertise: Deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, specifically theme customization and Elementor page building.
Server & Hosting Savvy: Proven experience with cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and various hosting environments.
DNS Proficiency: You should be able to explain the difference between a Nameserver change and an A-record update in your sleep.
Front-End Basics: Proficiency in CSS/HTML to customize what Elementor can’t do out-of-the-box.
Attention to Detail: A "pixel-perfect" mindset—ensuring designs are consistent across all breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WP Rocket, Cloudflare, or other caching/CDN tools.
Understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to site structure and speed.
Basic knowledge of PHP for minor theme file edits.
