Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong WordPress experience and a solid understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to manage, optimize, and enhance our website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performing, user-friendly web experiences while ensuring our content is optimized for modern search and answer-driven platforms (such as Google’s featured snippets, voice search, and AI-powered search tools).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, and custom functionality)

Optimize website structure, content, and performance for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

Implement best practices for SEO, AEO, and technical optimization (schema markup, structured data, page speed, mobile responsiveness)

Ensure website content is optimized for featured snippets, voice search, and AI-generated answers

Collaborate with content and marketing teams to improve discoverability and user engagement

Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply ongoing improvements

Ensure website security, backups, and updates are consistently maintained

Stay up to date with WordPress updates, search engine algorithms, and AEO trends

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong focus on WordPress

Experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and modern SEO strategies

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress development

Experience with page builders, custom themes, and popular WordPress plugins

Knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and content optimization for answer engines

Strong understanding of website performance optimization and UX best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience optimizing content for voice search and AI-powered search tools

Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)

Basic understanding of content strategy and digital marketing

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
