Web Designer & Front-End Developer (Part-Time)

Overview

We're a North American creative and digital agency. We're looking for a reliable part-time front-end developer to turn designs into clean, responsive web interfaces — React web apps and WordPress sites. You'll work from Figma designs and defined API endpoints to build the screens users actually touch. This is a long-term role for the right person.

What you'll do

Build responsive React front-ends from Figma designs
Wire up UI to existing API endpoints (provided by our lead developer)
Build and maintain WordPress sites using ACF and Elementor Pro
Implement clean, accessible, on-brand interfaces that match design specs exactly
Commit documented code and report your progress and hours daily

Must have

Strong React (hooks, components, state management)
Solid HTML, CSS, and responsive design
Pixel-accurate translation of Figma designs to code
Comfortable consuming REST API endpoints (fetching and displaying data)
Clear written English and proactive daily communication
Ability to follow written scope precisely and ask questions before building

Nice to have

WordPress (ACF, Elementor Pro)
Tailwind or modern CSS workflows
Experience matching strict brand guidelines (fonts, colors, spacing)

Hours: Part-time, 2–5 hours per day depending on demand. GMT+8 friendly, some North American overlap preferred.
Rate: $8 USD/hour, paid biweekly via Wise.
