Virtual Assistant - Shopify E-commerce Store

Expert-level Shopify experience, strong customer support background, fluent English, sharp math skills, high problem-solving ability, consistent professionalism.

Schedule: 6-7 days/week, part-time (4-6 hrs/day, subject to increase). Working holidays optional; occasional days off accepted.

Required Window: 1-2 hour overlap between 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Arizona Time (MST) / ~1:00 AM – 10:00 AM PHT.

Role

We need a proactive, highly motivated Virtual Assistant for a Shopify store. This goes beyond ticket-answering — you'll manage backend operations, coordinate with suppliers, and protect revenue by delivering elite support that prevents chargebacks, reduces unnecessary refunds, and de-escalates unhappy customers.

Requirements

Reliable laptop/computer + stable internet (no mobile-only work)
Expert-level Shopify backend skills (Orders, Refunds, Customer Profiles, Analytics)
Fluent, conversational English including slang and cultural nuance — professional but peer-to-peer
Strong math skills and fast, accurate typing
Able to work independently at a high standard once trained

Responsibilities

Reduce chargebacks and refunds through proactive problem-solving
Handle order cancellations, refunds, and updates (address, variant, size) immediately
Coordinate with suppliers on defective products, tracking issues, and quality complaints; document defects and secure credits/replacements
Track daily lost revenue from chargebacks/refunds; occasionally calculate daily COGS from supplier invoices

Compensation & Growth
