JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Test Engineering Supervisor to lead the Test Engineering team in ensuring efficient testing processes, product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing:
Lead and supervise the Test Engineering team, ensuring the timely execution of engineering projects and continuous production support.
Develop, implement, and optimize test processes, test equipment, fixtures, and automation systems for new and existing products.
Review and approve test procedures, engineering changes, work instructions, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve test-related and customer-reported issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency, product quality, manufacturing yield, equipment reliability, and overall productivity.
Oversee process validation activities, including Test Process FMEA, GR&R studies, capability studies, and equipment qualification to ensure robust and reliable manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, and customers to resolve technical issues and support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
Monitor engineering KPIs, project timelines, equipment performance, and team productivity while providing technical leadership and performance management for Test Engineers and technicians.
Ensure compliance with company quality systems, customer specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while preparing technical reports, engineering presentations, and management updates.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Product Engineering Manager.

What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Test Engineering within a manufacturing environment, with supervisory or leadership experience.
Knowledge of LabView programming and SMPS product.
Strong knowledge of test process development, test equipment, automation, and product qualification.
Proficient in Failure Analysis, FMEA, SPC, 7 QC Tools, Six Sigma, DOE, and Lean Manufacturing.
Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, technical documentation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and all levels of management.
