As a senior ruby on rails engineer at Butlr Health, you will have an excellent opportunity to join a self-funded and profitable company that is growing fast. Butlr Health was founded by a proven 3x serial CEO who has expertise in building consumer brands and superstar teams.

### **We are looking for someone who:**

- Has 3+ years developing applications in Ruby on Rails
- Has helped architect and implement key functionality for a cloud-based product
- Has a computer science degree or demonstrated experience solving challenging CS problems
- Wants to have ownership and responsibility for a major aspect of product functionality from back-end algorithms through to the user interface
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Likes to think about how to tailor a user experience, but is also comfortable creating highly scalable infrastructures
- Wants to be great and work in a fast-moving, online environment where the end-user is key
- Strives for excellence not perfection
- Excellent written communicator

### Requirements

- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS & JQuery
- Solid understanding of OOP and database concepts
- Passion for writing simple, clean, efficient code
- Experience developing loosely coupled systems(micro-services)
- AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lamda etc)
- Experience with React/Vue/Angular/ES6 or alike front-end JS frameworks
- Excellent written communicator. You must speak fluent English and be an excellent written communicator for this role.
- Excellent time management skills and complex problem solving capability.
- Experience in working in Agile / Scrum teams
