Senior Web/Application Developer

iSystemize International is engaged in software development and business consulting services. Our company works with business owners by helping them create online video-based procedures for their staff.

We are looking for a full time, talented, highly knowledgeable and motivated programmer and web developer to work with us closely in the constant development of our cloud based application. You’ll work closely but remotely with the CEO to take our online application to a new and exciting level. We’ll provide you with clear direction on how we would like the application to be constantly improved, however we are always open to your ideas.

You’ll initially work closely with our senior developer from Paranaque as he will show you the ropes and test your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance our already existing web application used by our clients. (iSystemize Cloud) Watch short video of the application you’ll be working on here: http://www.isystemize.com/products/isystemize-cloud-business-intelligence-tools
• Maintain our cloud servers. (Amazon Web Services)
• Provide occasional live chat, Skype and phone/remote support to technical customer inquiries.
• The ability to research and find answers to technical issues.
• The desire to learn new technologies and services available in the marketplace.
• Updating and enhancing of company website.
• Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. We will always make ourselves available to you.
• Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
• The ability to work unsupervised using your own computer. (Home based initially and in the future, we’ll be getting an office close by)
• Fast reliable Internet speeds as you’ll be working with large video files at times.
• Strong problem solving skills and initiative.
• Enjoy being challenged by problems of scale and complexity, with a strong desire to make services better for users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in work experience.
• Knowledge of online video such as encoding formats (you’ll be using encoding.com)
• At least 4 years experience
• Advancing Programming in PHP
• Ajax, JavaScript, CCS
• Advanced knowledge in Oracle
• Experience with Amazon Web Services an advantage but can be learned on the job. (AWS – such as Amazon S3 and EC2 Web Server & encoding.com)
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Creative thinker and able to make recommendations to us.

Full time: 7am-3pm Philippines Time
