Senior PHP Developer - Full-time

We are currently looking for a full time exceptional PHP & MySQL Developer to join our team. We are an Internet Marketing company in New Zealand that is growing rapidly. The right person who fit our criteria would eventually expand to potentially become the Lead Developer/Project manager to oversee other team members.

You will be working on an existing website has already developed in PHP. Our current website is an aggregator that collects information from many other websites everyday and consolidate and organize those info on our website. We collect information using HTML web scraping, RSS/XML feeds or API. The next stage: we are planning to add in a lot more functionalities soon. Once done, this is going to be the largest platform in Australia and New Zealand. We would like you to join our team and help us achieve our vision. You will be solely in charge of development of this web project. This is a fun, challenging and rewarding job. We're looking for someone that would also enjoy contributing ideas and sharing their thoughts, while they do their job.

* Must have your own PC and a reliable high speed internet connection. Can use Skype

* Willing to learn new things and can easily be trained other skills.

Successful candidates MUST have/be:
* Solid background in PHP & MySQL programming and web development with at least 4-5 years professional experience
* Expert on PHP and MySQL
* You should have advanced knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- PHP
- MySQL
-Web scraping/crawling
-CSS
-Java
-JQuery
-HTML
-Ajax

Here are some of our expectations that the successful candidate should meet:
1. Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
2. Develop and maintain site frontend, backend, database, functionality etc
3. Develop new functionality according to specified requirements
4. Develop/update web infrastructure according to specified requirements
5. Design, develop and update relational database systems with their web interfaces
6. Monitors the web server and provides immediate solution related to its technical performance.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can follow instructions, meet requirements and complete tasks with 120%. You would be on 1 month PAID trial and if your work is excellent, we will officially offer you the position. Competitive Salary offered according to experience and ability.
Home-based, full time, 40 hours+ per week, working hours can be flexible.
