Summary of Role

As a Senior Mobile Developer at Storypark, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of our mobile platform. Your primary responsibility will be adding features and maintaining our existing iOS and Android mobile applications. Working remotely from the Philippines, you will collaborate with our global team to develop, enhance, and maintain our existing iOS and Android applications, providing an exceptional user experience for educators and families. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent remote working skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to improving early childhood education

We are actively looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with expertise in iOS and Android development to join our team on a full-time remote basis. We welcome candidates from the Philippines who have a proven track record of success working remotely.

Storypark employs using a local company and includes the 13th month as part of our package.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of specific features of our current Android and iOS app, ensuring code quality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain new features for our Android and iOS applications. We use a mix of Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to ensure code quality and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues, improving app performance and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our app remains cutting-edge.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with remote tea ---------- mbers, demonstrating strong remote working skills.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Senior Mobile Developer, with a strong portfolio of apps developed in Swift and Kotlin.
- Extensive experience with Swift and Kotlin and a solid understanding of Java.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully migrating apps from Java to Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of iOS and Android SDK, different versions of iOS Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Proficiency in using Android development tools, such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.Proficiency in using iOS development tools, such as Xcode, Buildlkite, and Git.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS and Android applications to back-end services.Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a global team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
