Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating our current stack from a contracting group to in-house management and driving rapid development cycles to enhance our application. This role requires expertise in ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Azure Cloud, AWS, Stripe integration, VideoSDK, and a strong understanding of scrum/agile development cycles and large migrations.

7am - 4pm Philippine Time (1 hour lunch)
Monday - Friday USA Time

Responsibilities

- Migration Management: Lead the migration of the current technology stack from external contractors to in-house management, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of our application using ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, and possibly NodeJS.
- Cloud Management: Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS.
- Integration: Implement and maintain Stripe for payment processing and VideoSDK for real-time video calls.
- Change Management: Develop CI/CD pipeline for rapid development and deployment of new features and bug fixes.
- Agile Practices: Participate in scrum/agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and assist in code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features, system architecture, and processes.

Qualifications

- 5+ years experience as a Fullstack Developer
- Proficiency in ReactJS and Ruby on Rails.

- Extensive experience with AWS.
- Strong understanding of Stripe integration. VideoSDK is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing large migrations and complex systems.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of agile development practices, including scrum.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Compensation

$2,500 USD per month
