Part Time Senior Full Stack Engineer for AI Tutoring Platform

I am looking for a strong senior engineer to support the next phase of LoopedIn Learning, an AI driven tutoring platform built on a modern stack. This is a part time role for twenty hours per month on a rolling three month contract with the option to extend.

The goal for the coming months is to stabilise the product, improve the mobile recording experience, strengthen the infrastructure and get the platform into a reliable state for scale. You must be comfortable working independently, owning problems from end to end and bringing senior level judgement to an early stage environment.

Tech environment

React Native with Expo

Deepgram

Experience with mobile recording flows, iOS and Safari permissions, real time audio or video systems and AI API integrations will be a major advantage. You should be someone who can jump into a codebase, diagnose issues quickly and bring structure and predictability to a fast moving product.

What the role includes

Twenty hours per month
Bug fixing
Stabilisation
Improving mobile audio recording behaviour
Supporting Convex and backend logic
Maintaining Stripe and session flows
Light feature development where appropriate

You must be comfortable communicating clearly, proposing realistic SLAs and helping define clean, effective ways of working for a monthly retainer.
