Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join a fast-growing Canadian fintech team building secure, automation-driven software solutions for the financial services industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building clean and scalable applications, and working in an agile environment where quality, performance, and ownership matter.

You will work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to design, build, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade applications used in a high-performance fintech environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Full Stack Development
Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, and React
Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following strong engineering best practices
Build and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend systems and third-party integrations
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve performance across the application stack


Database & Azure Integration
Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema designs using SQL Server or Azure SQL
Deploy and manage cloud services using Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Storage, and Key Vaults
Use Azure DevOps for pipelines, repository control, release management, and CI/CD workflows


Agile Collaboration
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality releases
Contribute ideas that improve architecture, automation, performance, and development processes


Code Quality & Best Practices
Support code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team
Apply secure coding practices and advocate for testing, automation, and continuous improvement
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement practical, scalable solutions


What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
Strong backend development experience with C# ---------- Core
Experience building and securing RESTful APIs
Advanced SQL Server skills, including query optimization
Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS, including App Services, Functions, and Azure DevOps
Experience with unit and integration testing using xUnit, NUnit, or similar tools
Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and agile development workflows
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver reliable solutions


Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with AI integrations
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Services
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or load testing platforms
