SCA Developer

We are seeking a work from remote Advanced (SCA) Developer to build additional functionality, correct existing scripts, and maintain front-end and back-end code for our E-Com Mall website, and internal tooling used by different departments throughout the ---------- eraction with other software developers, sales, administrative, warehouse, and purchasing staff is essential in this role. Please do not respond to this post if you are not proficient with SCA (SuiteCommerce).

Job Duties
· Work collaboratively with software developers and IT staff to plan, develop, and execute feature and product requests according to our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Respond to i ---------- reported by customers, staff, and systems monitoring in a timely manner
· Coordinate system and software upgrades with software developers and other staff
· Investigate and resolve NetSuite and SCA-related problems
· Maintain code documentation as necessary
· Willingness to learn and apply the company’s best practices and coding standards
· Advise computer users on the effective use of NetSuite, SCA and shared resources

Current Environment:
Our environment is highly customized to allow multiple eCommerce sites to use a single shopping cart in a mall ---------- allenges
• After doing a big bang implementation in Netsuite, organic search traffic has dropped roughly 30 percent, and sites are loading too slowly. We are considering the option of moving to another platform, but if we can correct these issues in our existing environment that would be optimal.

Tasks: Some connection failures on Integrations could be causing slowdowns. The candidate will work with NS partners on the following engagements:

• The method we use for our mall to do a single shopping cart is relying on a feature that NetSuite has deprecated because it is a security failure.
• Need to test inactivating custom fields to improve performance
• Bring all code into as few scripts as possible (consolidate code), and organize it into modules so it’s portable. Move as much code off event/client to scheduled processes.
• Test environments are not working as well as they should.
• Sales will want to create new promos and make changes in layouts often.
• Support SCA Related current bundles and new bundles.
