About Briggs Fire & Security
Briggs Fire & Security Ltd is a family-owned UK business founded in 1985, delivering fire and security services across 36,000+ sites nationally with 150+ staff, including a directly employed engineering workforce. We operate a fully self-delivered model and run a proprietary operations platform, SuperBriggs. We are investing heavily in automation and AI to scale our operations, and this role sits at the centre of that programme.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Developer who builds fast and builds well — using AI as a core part of the development workflow. You will design, build, and maintain custom functionality on our Salesforce platform, with a particular focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow automation. Just as importantly, you will be an expert user of Claude, using it to accelerate development, generate and debug code, and design solutions.
This is a build-focused role for someone who is genuinely excited about combining Salesforce development with modern AI tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) within Salesforce
Build and maintain Salesforce Flows (record-triggered, screen, scheduled) to automate operational processes
Write, review, and debug Apex where required to support LWC and automation
Use Claude as a primary development tool — prompting effectively to generate, refactor, and troubleshoot Salesforce code and solutions
Integrate Salesforce with external platforms and services (including AI agents and automation tools)
Translate operational requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions
Maintain documentation for the components, flows, and integrations you build
Support ongoing platform health, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven commercial experience developing on the Salesforce platform
Strong, demonstrable experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Strong experience designing and building Salesforce Flows
Expert user of Claude (Anthropic) — able to use it fluently as part of a daily development workflow to write and build in Salesforce
Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment process
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with UK-hours overlap
Clear written English and good communication skills
Desirable
Apex development experience
Experience with Salesforce APIs and third-party integrations
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I)
Experience building or integrating AI agents (e.g. Base44, external LLM APIs)
Familiarity with SuperBriggs-style operational platforms or field-services businesses
What Success Looks Like
Within the first few months, you will be independently shipping LWC and Flow solutions, using Claude to move quickly without sacrificing quality, and steadily reducing manual operational effort across the business through well-built automation.
