We are looking for a proactive, people-focused Remote Driver Performance Coach who can combine 1-on-1 coaching, performance data analysis, and process improvement to help delivery drivers become better performers.
The goal is simple: help struggling drivers improve, help good drivers become great, and help Gold performers reach Platinum. ????
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable talking to people and working with data. You will analyze driver performance, identify individual gaps, conduct personalized Zoom coaching sessions, and turn operational SOPs into simple, practical best practices that drivers can actually follow.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular 1-on-1 Zoom coaching sessions with drivers.
Proactively contact drivers and schedule sessions around their work schedules and days off.
Analyze driver performance data using Excel/XLS files, pivot tables, filters, charts, rankings, and trend analysis.
Identify recurring performance gaps and determine which drivers need immediate coaching.
Translate data into clear coaching: explain what went wrong, why it matters, and exactly what the driver should do differently.
Learn company and operational SOPs, policies, scorecards, and performance standards.
Draft and maintain simple SOPs, coaching guides, checklists, and driver best-practice documents based on official procedures.
Convert complex SOPs into short, practical instructions that drivers can understand and apply on the road.
Create individual improvement plans and follow up to measure whether coaching resulted in improvement.
Maintain detailed coaching notes and performance trackers.
Identify trends across the driver population and recommend group coaching or training topics.
Recognize improvement and motivate drivers while maintaining clear accountability.
Communicate recurring driver challenges, performance risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, analytical thinker, and natural coach. You should be able to build trust with drivers while also being comfortable reviewing numbers, identifying patterns, and giving clear performance feedback.
Strong Excel skills are important. You should be comfortable working with large spreadsheets, sorting and filtering data, creating pivot tables, identifying trends, and turning data into actionable coaching.
Experience in Amazon DSP operations, last-mile delivery, logistics, driver coaching, quality assurance, training, performance management, or operational analytics is strongly preferred.
You must be comfortable conducting video calls with U.S.-based employees and have significant working-hour overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT). The role requires reliable high-speed internet, strong spoken and written English, and flexibility to coach drivers based on their availability.
The right person understands that data tells us where the problem is, but good coaching helps us fix it.
To apply: Tell us about your coaching experience, Excel and data-analysis skills, experience creating SOPs or training materials, any Amazon or delivery operations experience, and your available working hours in U.S. Eastern Time.
