React / Cloudflare Developer

We are Astute Early Years Specialists, an established Australian consulting firm. We are building a small, friendly web hub where our clients fill in a short form and get back a tailored document generated by the Claude AI API. It is mainstream web development with one tidy API call inside it. We already have a clear written brief and two working prototypes to show shortlisted applicants, so you will not be guessing what we want.

We are based in Australia (AEST), so your timezone lines up well with ours — that is a genuine plus for us.

What you'll build (first phase)
A simple branded hub with 3–5 tool pages: a form goes in, a generated document comes out
Hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with the AI call made from a Cloudflare Function
Copy and download (.doc) of the generated result, plus basic rate limiting
One hard requirement: our API key and our private text prompts must live on the server, never in the browser code. We will check this by viewing the page source.

You are a great fit if you
Have built and deployed real web apps (please share a link we can click)
Are comfortable with React and Cloudflare Pages / Functions
Have called an API like Claude or OpenAI from a backend before
Communicate clearly and promptly in writing, and are comfortable saying “I’ll check and come back” rather than guessing
Are happy to do a small paid trial task before we commit, and to sign simple IP-assignment and confidentiality terms
