Platform & Integration Engineer (Contract, Immediate Start)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our systems haven't kept up — the business runs on thousands of spreadsheets and disconnected tools. We've finished the thinking (full build spec, process playbook, every platform decision documented and locked). We need one pragmatic engineer to build it.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

One operations app ("the Hub") on Base44 — 8 modules on one database:
- Events (instant quoting + Stripe deposits + pipeline)
- Recruitment & Onboarding (ATS + provisioning triggers + AI RSA document scanning)
- Commission dashboards
- Appraisals
- Marketing calendar
- Client image library with consent
- Manager/Director dashboards with AI reporting
- In-Store FOH (VIP alerts, drink orders to bar, tabs, call log)

WHAT YOU'LL INTEGRATE (THIS IS THE REAL JOB)

- Zenoti (CRM/POS — fixed): sales data reads, client writes, group bookings, gift-card deposits, complaints. No pre-built connector exists — custom API work via backend functions.
- Deputy (rostering — fixed): new-hire creation, compliance reads, news-feed posts.
- LearnWorlds (LMS — fixed): auto-enrolment, completion webhooks.
- Klaviyo + Shopify: client/segment sync from Hub + Zenoti.
- Stripe, Google Workspace, Claude API (in-app assistant + AI reporting).

YOU ARE

- Strong on REST APIs, webhooks and OAuth — comfortable reverse-engineering vendor APIs with patchy docs.
- Experienced with Base44 or comparable (Retool/Bubble) including backend functions — and honest about when low-code isn't enough.
- A clean data modeller — you can turn a spreadsheet-sprawl business into one relational schema.
- Pragmatic and phase-driven: ship value in weeks, prove risk early, don't over-engineer.
- Used to non-technical stakeholders; you build so an internal owner can run it without you.
