JOB OVERVIEW

1. Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field and project operations at ISAK Fire Protection, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role reports directly to Leadership and works closely with Business Development, Estimating, Project Management, and Field Teams.
The Operations Manager ensures seamless execution of fire protection system installations, inspections, service agreements, and maintenance programs across commercial and industrial projects. This position plays a critical role in operational efficiency, client satisfaction, profitability, and team performance.
Success in this role directly impacts project margins, client retention, safety compliance, and overall company scalability. This position is ideal for a disciplined, process-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and takes ownership of operational excellence.

2. Core Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations for fire protection system installations, service, inspections, and maintenance contracts.
Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project supervisors to ensure quality and timely project completion.
Collaborate with Estimating during project turnover to ensure accurate scope execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and material usage to protect project margins.
Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, NFPA standards, and local code requirements.
Resolve operational challenges, site conflicts, and client concerns promptly and professionally.
Improve internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce delays or rework.
Track operational KPIs and report performance metrics to Leadership.
Support scaling efforts by building systems, SOPs, and operational structure for growth.
Maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, inspectors, and clients.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in construction operations, project management, or fire protection systems.
Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, alarms, suppression systems, inspections, and code compliance.
Experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in project management software and reporting systems.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience in commercial fire protection operations.
Knowledge of NFPA codes and local inspection requirements.
Background in mechanical, electrical, or life-safety systems.
OSHA certification or safety leadership training.
