Long Term PHP/Wordpress Expert Needed

Skills required:

1. Basic HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL skills
2. Theme Development from PSD to Wordpress (when design is created by someone other than yourself)
3. Wordpress Theme modification – this will be tweaking/fixing existing themes, not developing new ones (this is including but not limited to standard free wordpress themes, premium themes, custom themes, plugins etc.)
4. Ability to set up hosting accounts, point name servers, and load Wordpress and plugins
5. Ability to research site bugs and errors and fix them in a timely manner
6. Good command of the written and spoken English language
7. Ability and willingness to be in contact every day (except on weekends) via Skype or email

Employee requirements:

The ideal applicant will have experience in all of the skills listed above, be a good problem solver, and have the time to dedicate 30+ hours per week to the job.

Additional skills that will be helpful for the job but are not required:

1. Good working knowledge and experience in Photoshop or other graphics design programs to do basic graphic updates
2. Experience in other web platforms such as Magento, Drupal, Joomla, etc.
3. Experience with coding and maintaining eCommerce sites
4. Basic on-page Search Engine Optimization knowledge for coding
