Lead Developer – Build, Innovate, and Lead with React

We're hiring a frontend-first developer who’s highly skilled in React and passionate about building intuitive, elegant user interfaces. This is a critical role: we need someone to take real ownership of the frontend. You’ll be the go-to expert on UI/UX implementation and play a key role in shaping the user experience of our product.

What We’re Looking For:
* Frontend leadership — You write clean, modular React components and understand how to architect a scalable frontend
* Strong Node.js ability — You’re comfortable writing backend services and working across the stack when needed
* Excellent English communication — You’ll be collaborating directly with the founder and other tea ---------- mbers in real time
* Terraform familiarity — You don’t need to be a DevOps expert, but should be comfortable navigating infrastructure as code
* AI-native mindset — You actively use tools like ChatGPT or Claude Code to speed up workflows, write better code, and explore solutions faster

Bonus If You:
* Have experience owning frontend systems in a fast-paced team
* Know how to build and scale component libraries
* Are opinionated about performance, accessibility, or animation
* Have worked in startups or built products from scratch

What You'll Be Doing :
* Lead development on our React frontend
* Collaborate on product direction and UI decisions
* Work with our Node.js backend where needed
* Use AI tools to iterate, unblock yourself, and push things forward faster
* Help elevate our code quality and system design

Preferred Experience & Requirements:
* Proven experience working remotely with U.S.-based clients as a Lead Developer, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in tech-forward companies.
* Strong experience building user interfaces with React and owning frontend development.
* Comfortable working with Node.js for backend tasks when needed.
* Good understanding of UI/UX principles, performance, and accessibility.
* Clear and effective English communication skills for real-time collaboration.
* Basic familiarity with Terraform or willingness to learn.
* Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to improve coding speed and quality.
* Experience in startups or fast-moving teams is a plus.
* Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.
* Availability to work during Mountain Standard Time (MST).
* Comfortable using a time tracking system.
* Must have a valid NBI Clearance.
