Seedhub is a remote digital marketing agency that specializes in local and organic SEO. We are a fully distributed team of 20 people living and working in 4 different countries around the world.

Our goal is to help marketing agencies, web designers, developers, and other relevant parties, add SEO to their product list without adding new in-house employees. We put their clients on the map with our white label SEO services by boosting their client’s ranking in Google and making them look like superstars.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Full-Stack Web Developer with SEO experience to join our team. The working shift will be during the day (Philippines time) but you may on occasion need to work night shifts so you can be available during the working hours of our team in the United Kingdom.

Main Duties

*Customization of WordPress Theme templates, layouts, and styles (PHP, HTML, CSS)
*Review and implementation of plugins
*Troubleshooting and correction of layout and/or performance issues
*Backup, creation, transfer, and restoration of WordPress websites and databases
*Execution of website changes requested by Marketing and Design personnel
*Collaboration with Copywriting and Marketing personnel for post/page/file creation and management
*Website set up according to the outlined page hierarchy
*Creation of a network of websites designed specifically for the purpose of link acquisition and SEO

Person Specification
Qualifications
*Demonstrable experience working in SEO
*Experience working with WordPress
*Experience in HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP
* Excellent reading and writing skills in English

Skills and Experience - Essential

*Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
*Customization of WordPress Theme templates, layouts, and styles (PHP, HTML, CSS)
*Expertise in the creation of well designed and SEO optimized WordPress sites
*Comfortable in modifying and amending existing WordPress themes and templates to create bespoke functionality was required.
*Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
*Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
*Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
*Thorough and demonstrable understanding of best practice on-site SEO.
*In-depth understanding of search engines, up-to-date techniques, ranking factors, and principles for sound SEO design and user experience;
*Great attention to detail
*Knowledgeable in technology to communicate via computer, smartphone, or text
*Highly organized multi-tasker who works well with fast-paced directions and instructions
*Ability to identify, comprehend, analyze, and solve problems within a fast-paced environment;
*Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and information
*Self-directed and able to work without supervision
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Able to work nights, weekends, extended hours if necessary
