Full-Stack Developer (Front and Backend)

I’m an entrepreneur building a SaaS product in the edtech and AI space — specifically, an AI-powered language learning platform that helps users master any language through conversational, structured learning, flashcard-style interaction, personalized tutoring, and gamified progression.

We’re building something that’s lightweight, scalable, and smart — a real alternative to Duolingo or Rosetta Stone, but built on modern tools, powered by ChatGPT, and structured for daily use and global scale. We already have the full user experience, learning structure, curriculum framework, and frontend interface built inside Bolt.new.

Now, I need someone to make it functional — connect the backend, implement logic, and bring it all to life.

If you're a resourceful developer who knows how to use ChatGPT and Bolt.new to build software, validate code, and connect all the moving parts, I want to work with you. You don’t need to know everything — you just need to be smart enough to figure it out and get it working.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Take the front-end already built in Bolt.new and turn it into a fully working SaaS platform

Connect the backend — databases, user auth, dashboards, lesson tracking, XP logic, progress data

Implement features like daily recaps, quizzes, progress tracker, leaderboard, language switching, user wins, and account settings

Use ChatGPT to write/refactor code and validate accuracy before shipping

Build a clean system for users to create accounts, learn languages, take lessons, and track their progress

Wire up API calls and database logic (PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase — open to recommendations)

Handle core workflows like login/signup, onboarding, form submissions, and dynamic lesson loading

Build out a modular structure so the software is scalable, editable, and doesn’t break when we grow to 100,000+ users

Work directly with me to test features, squash bugs, and improve the flow

Recommend smart ways to speed things up or clean things up as we go

You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Know how to build full-stack apps, even if you rely on AI tools like ChatGPT to speed things up

Can take vague ideas and turn them into real, working features with minimal hand-holding

Think in systems — not just isolated code — and understand how a SaaS platform should be structured for growth

Are familiar with Bolt.new or confident you can pick it up quickly

Understand how to structure backend logic, clean workflows, and frictionless user flows

Enjoy solving problems and figuring things out (even when there’s no step-by-step)

Requirements:
Proficient in front-end and back-end development (JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or similar)

Experience with authentication, APIs, and real-time databases (Supabase, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.)

Comfortable editing and verifying AI-generated code using ChatGPT

Can build, test, and iterate quickly inside no-code/low-code tools like Bolt.new

Clear communicator — I need to know what’s done, what’s blocked, and what’s next

Fast, independent, reliable, and easy to work with

Able to hop on Zoom when needed

Bonus: you’ve built and shipped a SaaS product before (even as a solo or side project)
