Front End Engineer - React/Redux

Naia Corporation, a USA based Software Company, founded in 1997, with locations in USA & Hyderabad, India. We are excited about providing our team members hands on experience with the latest technologies. We are looking for a front-end engineer to join or team.
As you know, skillset does not always correlate to years’ experience and sometimes there is no substitute for experience. That said, we prefer a very flat organizational structure, and merit based pay. What we value most is shipping working software to our customers, rapidly and without disruption.
Collaborative problem solving, a care for matching domain driven requirements, and creating reusable, quality software a few of the core ingredients.
Job Profile
• Developer versus design role
• A shift from traditional ASP.NET MVC towards single page applications, asynchronous events that integrate with backend RESTful / WebAPIs using React / Redux.
• A shift away from traditional relational database systems (like SQL Server) towards NoSQL (like MongoDB & ElasticSearch)
• Routinely breakout into POC / R&D mode to problem solve and try new and better things.
• Continuing education as a habit.
Responsibilities
• Convert lightweight requirements / wireframes / screens into working software.
• Collaborate with backend team to wire up RESTful / WebAPIs to backend services.
• Retain the integrity of the object model and interfaces.
• Build and maintain high performing and reusable code.
• Create and maintain automated tests.
• Support refactoring of monolithic, tightly coupled system, converting them into reusable micro services.
• Correctly manage state.

• Passionate about font-end development, especially JavaScript & TypeScript
• Fluent in CSS & HTML
• Have experience with React / Redux managing state and components.
• Have 4+ years’ experience developing front-end web applications.
• Value a high quality, visually appealing, and highly accessible experience.
• You enjoy collaborative interaction, are a good communicator, and fluent in English.
• Value maintaining front-end skills, frameworks through continuing education.
• Familiar with RESTful / Web APIs to connect web applications to back-end services.
• Ability to understand domain driven business requirements and translate them into working software.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as TFS Online & GIT.

Bonus if you also have…

• Proficiency and experience with TypeScript
• Used Redux Sagas to initiate actions and side effects.
• Used Redux Styled Components
• Used Storybook & Storyshots
• Used Immutable.js
• Experience using Amazon Web Services & AWS .NET SDK
• BS degree in computer science or relevant experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in web technologies
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• A current technical blog, web presence, or an active GIT hub profile.
