JOB OVERVIEW

Goal: To help us with design and website development (WordPress) for various website ---------- scription: At WMO we are looking for someone to help us with internal marketing programming projects for our different clients. We handle marketing for 6-7 internal clients and need someone who can make our design ideas come to life and implement these modules in WordPress + fix various smaller bugs.

Who is WMO?
At WMO, we handle marketing for 6-7 internal clients, including a digital agency based in Copenhagen, a SaaS business within the private healthcare sector, and another SaaS business within the restaurant industry

In order to create value for these companies, we are working intensely with online marketing - this entails creating landing pages, SEO optimizing, handling paid ads, etc. Therefore, we have a lot of ideas on how to improve the websites, but we need someone to make sure that these ideas can be implemented on the websites.

Assignments could be:
Design a subpage on our website explaining the mission for our business, so we can just add text, pictures, etc. in WordPress.
Implement tracking code and event snippets for Google ads on our ---------- sign and implement newsletter pop-ups on our website
Make sure pictures have the same size in our blog ---------- ange logo scale size by x50 to x200 width on desktop

We prefer that you have experience with:
Adobe PS, XD, and AI
Creating wireframes or markups
CSS animations
PHP, Stylus|Sass, HTML5
WordPress, custom themes, and a plugin called Advanced Custom Fields
Javascript/jQuery
MYSQL databases at a basic level
GIT (we use bitbucket)
Docker or willing to learn how it works (local development environments)

Who are you?
We expect you to have experience with front-end development, WordPress, and design. You enjoy working at the intersection of design and web development. When you’re creating a design, you’re the one thinking of the technical requirements of implementing the design on the website etc. Additionally, we expect you to be thorough in both your design and development work as this is an important part of our business. This means to consider every detail in terms of button placement, colors, and pages design.
