The Contracts Administrator is an integral member of our project delivery team. This role ensures all contract-related activities—from award through to variation management, delay notices, and monthly claims—are executed consistently and in line with company SOPs. You’ll be the central link between site, finance, and leadership, ensuring that all data flows seamlessly through Plexa, aligns with financial reporting, and meets the highest standards of commercial integrity.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in contract administration within formwork, structural concrete, or similar construction fields.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
Draft and issue contracts and subcontract agreements based on final BOQs.
Manage contract execution, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines.
Maintain and update contract documentation within Plexa and related systems.
Variations, Delays & Claims
Prepare and issue variation notices, extension of time (EOT) claims, and delay notices in line with project updates.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Senior Supervisor to capture and validate delay events and scope changes.
Ensure all relevant updates are accurately reflected in Plexa.
Prepare the monthly claims package for the Finance team, incorporating GM-reviewed progress data.
Collaboration & Communication
Liaise with project teams to communicate scheduling impacts and contractual obligations.
Work closely with the Senior Supervisor to document site conditions and variation events.
Ensure all contract submissions (e.g., claims and notices) are reviewed and signed off by the Project Manager and General Manager.
Systems & Process Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Contracts Administration SOP.
Support continual improvement of internal workflows related to contract and commercial management.
Align contract activities with broader financial systems and company reporting requirements.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent written and verbal communication, especially around contract language and formal notices.
High attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Ability to juggle competing deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects.
Sound understanding of site operations, construction schedules, and commercial risks.
