**This role requires significant hands-on experience with Sage Intacct.** We're looking for someone who can step in, own our accounting operations, optimize our financial systems, and help build the financial infrastructure for our next stage of growth.

# About the Role

The Financial Controller will lead Display Sales' finance and accounting function while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, financial analysis, accounting operations, and continuous process improvement.

You'll work directly with leadership to provide accurate financial information, improve visibility into business performance, and help build scalable financial processes that support long-term growth.

# Key Responsibilities

### Financial Leadership

* Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
* Prepare accurate financial statements and executive reporting packages.
* Manage the general ledger and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and accounting operations.
* Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain strong internal controls.
* Coordinate annual audits and work with external accounting and tax partners.

### Financial Planning & Analysis

* Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
* Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
* Analyze profitability by product line, customer, and business segment.
* Build KPI dashboards and executive reporting for leadership.
* Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiency.

### Strategic Business Partnership

* Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team on financial planning and business decisions.
* Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and profitability initiatives.
* Provide financial analysis for strategic projects, investments, and future acquisitions.
* Identify financial risks and opportunities before they become issues.

### Systems & Process Improvement

* Maintain and optimize Sage Intacct.
* Improve accounting workflows and financial reporting processes.
* Help automate manual processes through technology and AI where appropriate.
* Partner with leadership to improve system integrations and reporting capabilities.

# Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* **Required: 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger management, and system administration.**
* 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Finance Manager.
* Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and executive reporting.
* Experience improving accounting processes and internal controls.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Ability to overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours.
* Experience supporting executive leadership in a growing business.

* CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation.
* Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies.
* Experience in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or inventory-based businesses.
* Experience with Salesforce or CRM integrations.
