JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a thoughtful web designer to join our small digital team.

We build websites and brand systems for therapists, mental health practices, and other care-based businesses. Our work includes Figma designs, Squarespace websites, WordPress projects, and some custom-coded builds.

This role is for someone who can think through structure, layout, flow, and brand direction. The work needs to look good, but it also needs to be clear, organized, and easy for people to understand.

A website is not just a collection of pretty sections. It needs to guide people, make the next step clear, and feel like it belongs to the brand.

You would be joining our design team and reporting to our Head of Design.

This role is not for someone who only wants to make social media graphics. We need someone who can support real website design, branding, and client-facing projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

You may help with:

>> Website layouts in Figma

>> Homepage and service page designs

>> Brand identity work

>> Logo concepts

>> Brand books / brand guides

>> Website sections and design systems

>> Design revisions based on team and client feedback

>> Squarespace projects, if you have experience or are willing to learn

>> Supporting active client projects alongside our design team

Some projects will be very structured. Others will require you to think through the layout and make smart design decisions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You should have:

>> Strong Figma experience

>> Strong visual design and layout skills

>> Branding experience, including logo and brand book creation

>> A good eye for spacing, typography, hierarchy, and flow

>> Ability to read and follow briefs carefully

>> Ability to ask questions before going too far in the wrong direction

>> Ability to take feedback without getting defensive

>> Good communication and reliability

Squarespace experience is a strong plus, but it is not required.

If you are a strong designer and are willing to learn platforms like Squarespace, that matters more to us than already knowing every tool.

WHAT MATTERS HERE

A strong portfolio matters.

But the day-to-day work matters more.

We need someone who can slow down enough to understand the brief, ask questions when something is unclear, and check their own work before handing it off.

The goal is not just to finish tasks quickly. The goal is to create work that is thoughtful, accurate, and aligned with the direction of the project.

You do not need to know everything.

You do need to be eager to learn, open to feedback, and careful with details.

NICE TO HAVE

>> Squarespace experience

>> WordPress or Elementor familiarity

>> Experience designing for therapists, coaches, healthcare, wellness, or service-based businesses

>> Basic understanding of responsive web design

HOURS & PAY

>> Part-time

>> 15 to 20 hours per week

>> $6 to $7/hour depending on experience

>> Paid weekly

>> Initial 30-day probationary period

This is a long-term role for the right person.

HOW TO APPLY

Please email your application directly to:

----------

Use the subject line:

Web Designer / Brand Designer Application

Please include:

>> 2 to 3 of your strongest Figma website designs

>> 2 to 3 branding examples, logo concepts, or brand guide samples

>> Any Squarespace work, if you have it

>> A short explanation of your role in each project

>> A quick note on how you usually approach feedback and revisions

And one small catch:

Tell us who you are rooting for to win the World Cup.

Partly because we actually want to know. Partly because we want to make sure you read the full post.

Please do not send a generic application. We are looking for someone who can show how they think, not just send a list of tools.
