Experienced Web Scraper

We're currently seeking an experienced Web Scraper to join our talented team. This role involves extracting data from various web sources to support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a firm understanding of web protocols, and experience with web scraping tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and improve web scraping systems to meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with current web scraping systems.
Maintain awareness of the legalities and ethics surrounding web scraping to ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in web scraping with tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium or similar tools.
Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
Preferred experience with Google Apps Script
VBA Knowledge a plus
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web crawling models.
Experience with APIs, JSON, and other data formats.
Understanding of web scraper detection and blocking prevention strategies.
Familiarity with data storage tools such as SQL, NoSQL, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
