We are a fast-growing ecommerce store that sells different products through such acquisition platforms as Meta ads, Google ads, Amazon, Klaviyo, Tiktok, Instagram, etc.
Role Description
This is a remote contract role for an Ecommerce Video Editor. The video editor will be responsible for editing new VSL, UGC, mashup, and other types of videos on weekly basis using the scripts provided, and offering data-driven insights to shape overall strategy. In this role, you will also be tasked with honing new skills such as working with AI tools, creating motion designs, researching the content on Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube etc.
Qualifications
Proven experience in creating high-converting video ads for ecommerce brands, with a strong understanding of VSLs and UGC content editing.
Strong analytical skills to assess video performance metrics and optimize for engagement, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
Deep proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar) and familiarity with motion graphics, transitions, and dynamic text overlays.
Experience in editing videos for paid media platforms, including
At least 3 years of experience in ecommerce video editing, specifically for direct-to-consumer (DTC) and VSLs (long video-sales letters)
Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher) for seamless team communication and collaboration.
Availability to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexibility for tight deadlines and occasional weekend work.
