The Job
As a Data Validation Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our data science and machine learning initiatives. Your focus will be on validating, cleaning, and standardizing datasets to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain optimized, secure, and scalable data pipelines—enabling the success of our innovative trading platform.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement validation rules and processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on financial, real estate, and blockchain datasets.
• Automate data cleaning workflows to address missing, inconsistent, or duplicate entries.
• Normalize and standardize raw data to support scalability and machine learning readiness.
• Organize, store, and maintain datasets in compliance with security and performance standards.
• Provide synthetic datasets that accurately mimic real-world data when required.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in data validation, analytics, and machine learning.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product teams to proactively improve data processes and tools.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in data validation, cleaning, and normalization.
• Experience handling financial, property, or complex structured/unstructured datasets.
• Strong skills in Python and SQL, with experience working with JSON files.
• Experience working with Google Workspace and PDFs.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in high-volume datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Background as a Financial Analyst.
• Familiarity with U.S. Real Estate industry, especially residential property acquisition, transfers, and rental operations.
• Knowledge of U.S. real estate documentation (loan agreements, securities offerings, financial statements).
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and the FinTech industry.
• Experience with geospatial data and tools (e.g., GeoPandas, QGIS).
