Creative Virtual Assistant & Wedding Culling Assistant (Remote)

Hi! I'm Cescily, the owner of Hyde Photo & Film. I'm a wedding photographer looking for a creative, dependable assistant to help me behind the scenes as my business continues to grow.

This is much more than a typical virtual assistant position. I'm looking for someone who genuinely appreciates beautiful imagery, enjoys organization, and wants to become an important part of a creative business. No wedding photography experience is required, provide training, detailed workflows, and all of the systems you'll need to succeed.

Your responsibilities may include:
Culling and curating wedding galleries (approximately 3,000–7,000 images per wedding)
Straightening, cropping, and photoshopping images in Lightroom Classic (no editing required)
Assembling Instagram Reels and TikToks from footage I provide
Creating Canva graphics, guides, and client resources
Writing blog posts and helping keep my website updated
Organizing and updating information inside my client management software
Other creative and administrative tasks as my business grows

Who I'm Looking For
The right person is someone who:
- Has a strong appreciation for photography, storytelling, and creativity
- Enjoys looking through thousands of wedding images and selecting the very best ---------- nts
- Has an artistic eye and good attention to detail
- Is organized, dependable, and consistently meets deadlines
- Learns quickly and enjoys improving systems and workflows
- Is proactive and enjoys figuring things out independently while asking questions when needed
- Communicates clearly in English
- Is trustworthy and able to handle client information confidentially
- Has experience with Canva, social media, or other creative software (a plus, but not required)
- Loves movies, music, photography, design, or other creative arts
- I value character, work ethic, and reliability far more than an impressive résumé.

Weekly Schedule
- One requirement for this position is availability every Sunday and Monday (Mountain Time) to complete wedding culling. Finished galleries must be ready for me by Tuesday at 7:00 AM MST.
- Outside of those deadlines, much of the work can be completed on your own schedule.

Hours & Growth
- This position starts at approximately 10 hours per week, although some weeks may be busier than others.

My goal is to begin with a smaller workload while we both become comfortable working together. As trust grows and my business continues to expand, I plan to increase both responsibilities and hours.
The ideal candidate is someone interested in growing into a long-term part-time—and potentially full-time—position. During busy wedding season, full-time work is very possible.
I believe in rewarding people who care about their work. Strong performance, commitment, and growth are recognized with opportunities for increased responsibilities, higher pay, and wage reviews as often as every six months.
