Construction Quantity Estimator

We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Quantity Takeoff Specialist to join our team and support estimating and pre-construction operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and extracting accurate material and labor quantities to help inform bids, budgets, and procurement plans.

This is a fully remote position, ideal for someone who’s fast, precise, and experienced with digital takeoff tools and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities
-Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural elevation drawings.
-Break down drawings into scope-specific material and labor components.
-Organize and present takeoff data clearly in Excel or estimating software.
-Coordinate with office manager clarify scope and quantities.
-Ensure takeoffs align with project specs, plans, and relevant codes.
-Identify missing or conflicting information in drawings and flag potential scope gaps.

Requirements
-2+ years of experience in quantity takeoffs, estimating, or related pre-construction work.
-Strong working knowledge of construction documents across all disciplines.
-Proficiency in takeoff software (e.g. PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff, Builder Bid, etc.).
-Advanced Excel skills — especially with formulas, pivot tables, and formatting.
-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
-Background in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
-Experience integrating takeoffs into estimating platforms (e.g. ProEst, Job Nimbus, Buildertrend).
