Assistant Web Developer (Full Stack)

This listing is for a full-stack web developer (back-end + front-end) who wants to work remotely in a self-managed, results-based environment. Applicants should be strong developers, hard workers, and have extensive experience in full-stack development ---------- ’s also required that applicants are fluent in reading and speaking English.

Requirements for applicants: Proficiency in PHP, Javascript, HTML, WordPress, LAMP, Magento, and CSS. Fluency in English reading and speaking.

Priority will be given to applicants with experience in Shopify and AWS, as bonus requisites.

The successful applicant will work as an assistant developer for our company’s lead developer, supplementing tasks and project work as needed. We are a small team of developers and digital marketers focused on building web assets for clients in tandem with web marketing initiatives.

This assistant developer role has the potential to evolve into a larger role in terms of autonomy, time, and compensation. However, a successful applicant will be someone able to self-learn, solve problems, and complete assignments with minimal direction/supervision.

If the candidate is a good fit with our team, the job can quickly go from 20 hours (part-time) to 40 hours (full-time).

Job performance will be evaluated based on results and efficiency. A satisfactory performance evaluation after the first 3 months of work will be met with an automatic 10% pay raise.
