# AI-Assisted Developer / Vibe Coder — Long-Term Position

We’re looking for a smart, resourceful **AI-Assisted Developer / Vibe Coder** to join our team long-term and help us build websites, web applications, internal tools, automations, and other digital projects.

You do **not** need to be a senior software engineer.

We’re looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of coding and, most importantly, knows how to use AI tools effectively to **build quickly, solve problems, debug issues, and figure things out independently.**

If you love experimenting with AI, coding, and finding smarter ways to build things, this could be a great fit.

## What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work directly with me across a variety of projects, including:

* Building and modifying websites and web applications
* Using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar
* Working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks
* Building APIs, integrations, and automations
* Using browser automation tools such as Playwright
* Debugging and solving technical problems with AI
* Testing websites and applications
* Working with GitHub and existing codebases
* Researching and experimenting with new AI tools and workflows
* Helping build internal tools that make our work faster and more efficient
* Assisting with various technical and development tasks

Some projects may involve things neither of us has built before.

That’s completely fine.

You should be comfortable researching, experimenting, and using AI to figure things out rather than waiting for detailed step-by-step instructions.

## What We’re Looking For

You should have:

* Basic to intermediate coding knowledge
* Experience using AI coding tools
* Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Familiarity with Git and GitHub
* Comfortable using Terminal and command-line tools
* Ability to understand and modify existing code
* Strong problem-solving and research skills
* Good English communication
* Reliable internet and your own computer
* Ability to work independently and learn quickly

Experience with any of the following is a bonus:

* Claude Code
* OpenAI Codex
* Cursor
* Next.js / React
* Node.js
* WordPress / WooCommerce
* Shopify
* Playwright / browser automation
* APIs and webhooks
* Vercel
* MCP servers and AI agents
* AI image and video tools
* Automation tools and workflows

You **do not need to know everything on this list**.

Your ability to learn, adapt, and use AI effectively is more important than already knowing every technology.

## The Type of Person We Want

We want someone whose mindset is:

**“I don’t know how to do this yet, but I can figure it out.”**

We are not looking for someone who needs detailed instructions for every single task.

We want someone who is naturally curious and willing to experiment.

If something doesn’t work, you research it, ask AI, try another approach, debug it, and keep going until you find a solution.

AI is changing how software and digital products are built, and we actively embrace it.

You don’t need to manually write every line of code.

We actually **want you to use AI**.

What matters is that you understand what you’re building, can identify when something isn’t working, and know how to use the tools available to get to a working result.

## Long-Term Opportunity

This is **not a one-off freelance project**.

We’re looking for someone who can become a long-ter ---------- mber of our team.

Initially, you’ll work closely with me and assist with development, automation, and technical projects.

As you learn how we work and demonstrate your abilities, you’ll be trusted with increasingly larger projects and more independence.

There will be opportunities for **increased compensation and responsibility as you grow with the company.**

We want someone who is excited about AI and technology and wants to grow alongside a fast-moving business.

5. Tell us about your coding experience and which technologies you’re most comfortable working with.

6. Tell us about **one real project you built using AI**. Briefly explain what you built, how you used AI to build it, what problems you encountered, and how you solved them.

At the **very beginning of your application**, write the word:

Shortlisted applicants will be given a **small practical AI coding challenge** before moving to the interview stage.

We care less about degrees, certificates, or how many years you’ve been coding.

What we care about is:

**Can you learn quickly, use AI effectively, figure things out, and build things that actually work?**
