Now Hiring: Assistant Product Developer
The Assistant Product Developer supports the Product Development team in bringing new products to life and improving existing ones. This role helps coordinate product development projects, maintain product information, communicate with suppliers, and ensure products move smoothly from concept to launch.
We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to learn. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, keeping projects on track, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Mountain Time (MDT)
• Location: Fully Remote
What You'll Do
• Assist with the development of new products and improvements to existing products.
• Help coordinate product development timelines and keep projects moving forward.
• Organize and maintain product documentation, specifications, and design files.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding product updates and samples.
• Assist with reviewing product samples and documenting feedback.
• Track product revisions and ensure information is accurate across teams.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations during product launches.
• Help prepare product information for packaging, manuals, and marketing materials.
• Assist with competitive product research and market trends.
• Support testing and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Complete additional product development projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required
• 2+ years of experience in product development, project coordination, sourcing, manufacturing, merchandising, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
• Experience working with overseas suppliers or manufacturers.
• Experience with product sourcing or purchasing.
• Knowledge of consumer or outdoor products.
• Experience using project management software such as Asana,
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and organization.
