nsurance Agency | Full-Time Remote | Philippines
We are a fast-growing U.S.-based insurance agency specializing in commercial insurance and trucking. We are looking for a highly capable, resourceful, and motivated AI Agent and Automation Developer to help us build practical AI systems that improve our daily operations.
This is not a basic virtual assistant position, and it is not a role for someone who only knows how to use ChatGPT.
We need someone who can analyze a business process, identify repetitive work, build an AI-powered solution, test it, improve it, and make sure it works reliably in a real business environment.
Main Objective
Your job will be to help us use AI agents and automation to:
Reduce repetitive manual work.
Improve employee productivity.
Organize information and documents.
Monitor unfinished tasks.
Automate communication and follow-ups.
Reduce human errors.
Improve response times.
Create better reporting and management controls.
Help our employees work faster and more accurately.
You will work directly with the business owner to understand existing processes and convert them into functional AI agents, automations, and internal tools.
Examples of Projects You May Build
An AI agent that reads incoming
A system that monitors outstanding insurance documents and automatically follows up with employees or clients.
An AI assistant that reviews insurance applications for missing or inconsistent information.
A tool that compares vehicle, driver, policy, and underwriting information across documents.
A system that extracts information from PDFs,
An AI agent that organizes voice messages and informal instructions into tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
Automated daily production and performance reports for employees.
A quality-control agent that checks whether required steps were completed before a policy is submitted or bound.
An internal knowledge assistant trained on our procedures, carrier guidelines, scripts, and training materials.
A workflow that drafts professional responses to clients, underwriters, lenders, and insurance carriers.
Automated reminders and escalation systems for unfinished assignments.
Integrations between
Dashboards showing open tasks, processing delays, employee performance, and urgent problems.
What We Expect You to Do
Learn and document our current business processes.
Identify areas where AI and automation can save time or reduce errors.
Recommend practical solutions instead of using unnecessary complicated technology.
Build AI agents from beginning to end.
Connect AI tools with existing business software and APIs.
Create multi-step workflows with decision-making, follow-ups, and escalation rules.
Test automations using real business scenarios.
Monitor performance and correct failures.
Protect confidential client and insurance information.
Document every system so another person can understand and maintain it.
Train employees on how to use the tools you create.
Continuously improve existing agents based on employee feedback and actual results.
Required Technical Skills
You should have practical experience with several of the following:
OpenAI API and ChatGPT-based applications.
AI agents and multi-step agent workflows.
n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar automation platforms.
API integrations and webhooks.
Python or JavaScript.
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, or Microsoft Graph.
Gmail and Google Workspace integrations.
Databases, spreadsheets, and structured data.
PDF and document data extraction.
OCR and document-processing tools.
Prompt engineering and structured outputs.
Retrieval-augmented generation and internal knowledge bases.
Vector databases or document-search systems.
Error handling, logging, testing, and workflow monitoring.
Basic cloud deployment and application security.
Experience with insurance, financial services, trucking, CRM systems, or document-heavy businesses is a major advantage but is not required.
The Person We Are Looking For
You should be:
Highly intelligent, curious, and resourceful.
Excited about building AI systems that solve real business problems.
Able to work independently without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
Persistent when an integration or workflow does not work immediately.
Focused on finished, usable results—not demonstrations or theories.
Comfortable managing several projects at the same time.
Able to explain technical matters in simple business language.
Organized and capable of documenting your work.
Honest about limitations, mistakes, security risks, and project delays.
Willing to test your work thoroughly before calling it complete.
Interested in a serious, long-term position.
We move quickly, change priorities frequently, and expect strong follow-through. You must be comfortable working in a high-energy environment where business needs may change rapidly.
Work Schedule and Availability
The company operates on U.S. Central Time.
The business owner works during the day and frequently continues working during the evening and nighttime. Instructions may be provided through messages, voice recordings, meetings, or short explanations throughout the day and evening.
You must be able to:
Maintain regular agreed-upon U.S. working hours.
Attend scheduled meetings during U.S. Central Time.
Review instructions carefully and convert them into organized development tasks.
Provide clear progress updates.
Maintain some flexibility for evening communication when important projects require it.
You will not be expected to work 24 hours a day, but this position is best suited for someone with flexibility and strong commitment.
This Position Is Not for You If:
Your AI experience is limited to asking ChatGPT questions.
You only know how to create simple prompts.
You cannot connect systems through APIs or automation platforms.
You create demonstrations but cannot deploy reliable working solutions.
You need detailed instructions for every step.
You disappear when a technical problem becomes difficult.
You regularly miss deadlines without giving advance notice.
You do not test your work.
You are working several conflicting full-time jobs.
You are careless with confidential business or customer information.
You prefer theoretical AI projects rather than practical business automation.
What We Offer
Direct employment with a U.S.-based insurance agency.
No agency or outsourcing middleman.
Full-time, long-term work.
Direct access to the business owner and decision-maker.
The opportunity to build AI systems that will actually be used by a growing company.
