Zoho Deluge Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Zoho Deluge Developer to support our post-migration optimization and internal application development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Zoho One suite and a strong command of Deluge scripting to streamline workflows, finalize custom applications, and ensure we’re getting the most value from our Zoho environment.
This role will work closely with both internal stakeholders and our operations team to solve real business problems through custom apps, logic-driven automation, and cost-efficient development practices. Key Responsibilities
• Application Development: Design, build, and maintain custom apps in Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, and related platforms
• Deluge Scripting & Automation: Develop workflow rules, custom functions, and logic to automate processes like lead routing, approvals, and reporting
• System Integration: Integrate Zoho applications with each other and with third-party tools using APIs, webhooks, and Zoho Flow
• Customization & Optimization: Customize Zoho modules, layouts, portals, and dashboards to align with evolving business needs
• Data Management: Support data accuracy and transformation as we continue post-migration stabilization; assist with advanced reports using Zoho Analytics
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with minimal trial-and-error iterations
• Documentation & Handoff: Create clear documentation and offer technical support for internal adoption and system ownership
• Best Practices: Promote clean, efficient code; leverage existing libraries and tools (e.g., Zoho’s ecosystem, ChatGPT) to streamline development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Deluge Mastery: Strong experience with custom functions, workflows, conditionals, and API integrations
• Zoho Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Zoho One apps including CRM, Creator, Projects, Desk, Campaigns, and Analytics
• Web Stack Fluency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
• Database Proficiency: Understanding of relational databases and query logic (SQL a plus)
• Post-Migration Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot legacy logic, stabilize systems, and reduce manual inefficiencies
• Strong Communication: Ability to translate business logic into Zoho workflows with minimal ambiguity
• Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Zoho Certified Developer or relevant certifications
• Familiarity with other scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.)
• Experience working with migrated data or legacy system replacement
• Industry experience in SaaS, sales enablement, or tech consulting

$8-12USD per hour Based on Experience.
