???? HIRING: YouTube Video Editor (Part-time, Remote)

Hey! I'm Rap, a Filipino content creator based in Brisbane, Australia. I run Kuya Rap ---------- — a personal finance and investing channel for Filipinos, delivered in Taglish.

I'm looking for a video editor to work with me on a monthly basis (1 video/month to start). I'm scaling my channel so I need someone to make a long-term relationship with so we can produce more videos!

**What you'll be editing:**
- 10-minute talking head videos with b-roll
- 1080p footage
- Personal finance / investing topics in Taglish

**Your responsibilities:**
- From a 20-min raw clip, cut silences and tighten the edit for pacing
- Add lower thirds
- Help build and shape the channel's visual brand from the ground up (optional)
- Snappy, retention-focused cuts
- Minimal background music and light meme inserts where appropriate

**Must-haves:**
- Comfortable with Final Cut Pro (FCP)
- Experience editing YouTube talking head content
- Good eye for pacing and storytelling
- Understands the Filipino / Taglish content space

**Nice to have:**
- Familiar with personal finance content
- Can suggest b-roll and meme placements
- Enjoys the creative side of building a brand identity

**Setup:**
- 1 video per month to start, with room to grow
- Files shared via Google Drive
- Feedback via chat
