YOUTUBE CREATIVE DIRECTOR (Long-Form Video Editor + Thumbnails / YouTube Strategy)

WHO WE ARE & WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Hey there! We're looking for a YouTube Creative Director based in Davao City - hybrid setup to work closely with
established business owners, YouTube entrepreneurs, business coaches, and content
creators — producing content that drives engagement and real business growth.

You'll be part of the core team and an active collaborator in content ideation,
planning, and execution, making sure every video aligns with the client's brand
and business goals. This is a hands-on creative role: you'll live in the edit,
shape the story, and help d ---------- what gets made — not just manage from the sidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Edit long-form video — talking-head content, podcasts, and interview-style
videos — with strong pacing, story flow, b-roll, captions, and retention editing
- Work directly with the CEO and team to shape the video content roadmap
- Develop and refine content ideas that align with the client's brand and goals
- Help with content creation end to end — from ideation and scripting to editing
and publishing — while keeping the client's voice
- Research and integrate YouTube growth strategies into content planning
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize content for the YouTube algorithm
- Analyze performance and adjust strategy to maximize views, engagement, conversions
- Ad hoc tasks as needed, e.g. building presentations in Miro, Google Slides, or
similar tools that turn client ideas into visually engaging narratives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR — NON-NEGOTIABLES
- Proven experience editing LONG-FORM video — talking heads, podcasts, interviews
(please include samples or a portfolio)
- Strong command of YouTube-style editing: pacing, hooks, b-roll, captions, retention
- PLUS at least ONE of the following:
- Thumbnail design — eye-catching, click-worthy YouTube thumbnails, OR
- YouTube strategy — titles, packaging, SEO, analytics, and channel growth
- Excellent English communication and comfort collaborating directly with the CEO
and clients
- Data-driven and analytical, but also intuitive and trend-aware
- Comfortable with a fluid schedule and the occasional urgent request

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Based in Davao City — we have a studio there, so being local is a real plus
- Background in marketing, branding, or viral content creation
- Experience managing and growing YouTube channels
- Knowledge of YouTube SEO and monetization
- Organized enough to juggle multiple projects, flexible enough to pivot when
inspiration (or an urgent client need) strikes
